There will be company on the golf course soon...

Now granted that it is supposed to snow in Alberta this weekend—you read that right foreign Nation readers: SNOW—so there aren’t too many golf-related activities going on around Edmonton these days even though the Oil aren’t in the playoffs.

However, when summer (or even spring) does finally decide to arrive, there will be some dear dear friends joining the Oilers on the golf course. We don’t want to jinx anything, but with the Stars leading 3–1 in their series and the Flames now trailing the Sharks 3–2, some of histories greatest monsters could be out of the playoffs soon.

We have a whole list of people we are going to mock once these series finish up. Oh it will be rich rich comedy.

GO NOBODY!

I'm honestly shocked at the silence a Flames loss generates. There is absolutely no optimism. I remember when the Oil were down 2-1 against the Sharks in '06 and John Garrett predicted that the Oilers would take the next two and win the series. That's pretty ballsy... Where is John Garrett Calgary is asking.........

Thats the difference between Calgary fans and Edmonton Fans. Edmonton fans wear their ratty old Esa Tikkannen Jerseys to games, and still rock the 2006 Western Conference Championship hats. Calgary is all new Flames Jerseys, and nothing else.

Oilers fans revel in being Oilers fans. They cheer against all odds, and still celebrate old successes. Flames fans lack the same heart

The response from the locker room regarding Iggy's run in with Rich Preston has been entirely misrepresented. It is not healthy - it is not a sign of competitiveness – something is really broken in the Flames locker room. Keenan has lost the room and it is Iggy’s show – although it is huge, his heart is not big enough to carry the Flames on his back.
